PROFICIENCY EXAMINATION. ALL ENTRANTS GAIN PASSES. “They all passed,” was the exclamation of delight made by the le Ivuiti District High School entrants in tb,e Standard VI Proficiency examinations, 1927, when shown the- result sheets by the headmaster, Mr Smith, yesterday morning. Something of a. record has been established 1 by the High School in this result, passes having been gained by all of the 64 pupils presented from the school. This total comprises 59 Std. VI piupils and five High School pupils. This is a meritorious performance, and every credit is due to Mr C. Bathgate for th© results which have been achieved from his efforts. The work of coaching the classes has, for the most part, been in the hands of the latter, who throughout the year has devoted a great deal of time and energy thereto.
