USEFUL HINTS.
One level tablespoonl'ul of fat or butter equals one oz. Should paint get on the window panes, it can readily be removed with hot vinegar. If parsley is kept wrapped up in a wet cheese cloth it will keep fresh lor a week or ten days. To clean a, tiled floor, use strong soapsuds, applied wfth a scrubbing brush or cloth mops. To make the suds, mix lib of washing soda and lib soap scraped and made into a jelly with' four gallons of boiling water. Repeat the process for some time it the tiles have been neglected.
