STOCK SALES. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: — Feilding.—A medium entry of stock fcnd a good attendance of buyers. There was a keen demand for all classes of stock, and prices showed a decided improvement on last week. Prices:—Forward two tooth wethers 29s 3d, four and six tootb wethers 28s 2d to 28s 6d, empty ewes 15s 9d. lambs 10s to 17s 2d, fat wethers 33s 7d, fat ewes 30s 6d, fat cows £9 to £lO 15s, fat heifers £9 to £9 10s. two year coloured steers £8 to £8 4s, eighteen month Hereford steers £7 12s 6d. small steers £4 to £4 7s 6d, empty heifers £3 12s 6d to £4 7s 6d, dairy cows £5 10s to £l2, store cows £3 7s 6d to £5 103. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report: — Palmeraton North. —Only a small vardiog came forward. We quote: — Forward ewes 13*. cull lambs 6s Id, coll weaners 7s.
