TBE SOLDIERS' VOTE. DIFFICULTY ANTICIPATED. Wellington, Saturday. Mr Batten, president of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association, end Mr Armstrong, secretary of the Moderate League, called unofficially on the Minister of Defence to-day, stating that gazatted regulations governing the procedure foe taking soldiers' votes at the overseas special licensing poll, does not enable soldiers to have the necessary knowledge of important provisions of ths Licensing Act Amendment. Sir Jamss Allan has not yat announced his attitude. «
