BRITISH NAVAL FORCE.
RETREATS FROM ANTWERP.
2000 CUT OFF. London, Sunday. It ia officially stated that a British naval force, with heavy guns, ,par-i ticipated in the defence of Antwerp. The force comprised 8000 marines and bluejacets. Two brigades Bafely retreated to Ostend with all guns. The Germans cut eff 2000 uf the first brigade, who were forced into Dutch territory, and there surrendered. The retreat of the Belgian army was successful.
