FOOTBALL.
On Saturday afternoon Kaikoura defeated Hapuku by 32 points to nil. Tony Miles had a real field day, scoring no less’ than eight times. B. W. Perrin and Bob Miles also scored tries, one of which was converted by Bill Smith. Mr H. R. Escott was the referee. Hapuku did not field a very strong team, but they were sporting enough to issue another challenge, which they consider they will contest far better when they gather in some reinforcements from the East Coast.
