CLAIM FOR £14,000
TERMINATION OF CONTRACT | On the grounds that the contract fol ■ the erection of the steel structure a the new Ford factory at Lower Hull had been wrongfully terminated, P Graham and Son, Ltd., of Christchurch in an action started in the Supreme Court at Wellington, on Tuesday claimed from the Ford Motor Compam of New Zealand. Ltd., damages total ling £14,088 10/3, plus £175 9/6 foi interest on that amount from July If. to October 19 at 5 per cent., and alsc interest from October 19 to the date of judgment. Alternatively, the plain till company claimed the sum of £985-1 0/3 damages, that being the contract price of £30,100, less £18,573 7/- pro gress payment, and £1672 12/9 for the estimated costs of completion. The hearing of the case is expected to last about a week.
