FAREWELL TO REV. F. AND MRS. ROBERTSON.
The Tai Tapu congregation met at the local hall on Friday evening to bid farewell and make a presentation to the Bev. Robertson and Mrs Robertson. Mr H. J. Macartney spoke of the good work Mr Robertson had done, especially with the young people, during the four years he had been amongst them, and on behalf of the parishioners presented a silver tea service to Mr and Mrs Robertson, and a silver knife, fork and* spoon to their son Malcolm. The Rev. Mr Harris spoke on behalf of the Methodist friends and Mr H. E. Peryman on behalf of the Tai Tapu Musical Society. Mr Robertson feelingly' replied. An enjoyable musical programme was provided. At Kaikoura this evening the Rev. and Mrs Robertson will be welcomed by members of St. Paul’s Church.
