HOSPITAL EXPENDITURE
ESTIMATES COVER £117,984
“The estimates of your board for the year 1950-51 have been considered and the Minister of Health hais approved net estimated expenditure of fiH7,984/l'7/'ll,” wrote th e d irector-general of health, Wellington, to the October meeting of the Thames Hospital Board. . The communication went on to state that the net estimated expenditure was to be met as follows:—
Maintenance: 'Levy, £15,531 7s ll>d; subsidy, £7i2,288 12s Id; /total, £87,820.
Capital: Subsidy, £30,164 17s ll'd; grand total, £117,984 17s lid.
The acting secretary, Mr D. Campbell, reported that nothing had’been cu/t tout of tbe estimates' except the cost of the ironing machine and that matter had been provided for.
