HANDBOOK AND BY-LAWS BOARD EXPLAINS THE DELAY “The board regrets that there has been a delay in issuing the handbook and new by-laws,” stated the secretary, Auckland Education Board, in a letter to the October meeting of the Paeroa District High School Committee.
The letter stated that the difficulty was that the handbook and by-laws were inter-related and to read one without the other would ,in the opinion of the board, create: confusion in the minds of members of the school committee. For that reason it was desirable that they should be issued together.
The by-laws were still in the hands of the printers and, every endeavour was being made to have the work completed some time this month, concluded the letter.
