KITCHEN EVENING

, MISS P. WAUGH HONOURED HAPPY PARTY AT NGATEA A kitchen evening sponsored by the Ngatea Ladies’ Hockey Club was tendered recently in the Ngatea hall to Miss Phyllis Waugh and Mr Sydney Williamson. The happy gathering danced to music played by Mrs Clark and Mt A. Whitehead of Turua. After supper Mr F. Morrow called Phyllis and Sydney to come forward and, on behalf of all those present, expressed best wishes to the happy couple and asked them to accept an array of presents. Sydney replied, thanking all present for coming along to make the evening such a happy one and for the gifts they had received. Those present included:— Mesdames D. Waugh, S. Fisher. H. McLean, F.
