WAJKINO STREET STALL RESULTS VERY GRATIFYING The Waitekauri branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers held its October meeting at the Settlers hall, when Mrs Wrigley presided ever a fair attendance of members. The meeting opened with the creed and the usual business of the meeting was dealt with. A vote of thanks was passed to Mrs Wrigley and Miss Mann who conducted the street stall held in Waikino and gratification was expressed with the proceeds. It was decided to knit squares to make a quilt to be sent to CORSO. When the meeting closed afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mrs Cowan and Mrs Fraser.
