NGATEA CHAMPIONSHIPS
RESULTS OF MATCHES TO DATE
With the indoor bowling season drawing to a close, the Ngatea club has commenced to play its championship games.
Results of the competitions to date are as follows: — Pairs championships, Messrs E. R. Sherlock (skip) and Hal Williams. Teams championship, Hotspurs, comprising Messrs D. Reid, E. Elvin, W. W. Baxter and L. E. Jackson (skip). Aggregate points prize, Hotspurs team.
With the singles championship yet to be played some very fine bowling is expected. Last year’s singles champion, Mr W. J. Baxter, will have need to be in good form, as the standard of bowling this year is very high.
