SERVICE SUPPORTED

NEARLY 50 TONS A WEEK

The service inauguratd last week to ibring by sea, general mer-

charidise f rom Auckland to Paeroa for distribution in the Paeroa, Wteuihi and Te Aretha districts is to be a permanent service according to information supplied to the Gazette by Northern Road Transiport Ltd., of Paeroa. The service is to be a weekly one arriving each Thursday at Ngahina wharf, Puke bridge, Paeroa, from where delivery will Ibe made to consignees by the company’s own trucks; On the first two trips a total of 93 tons of cargo has been carried and it would appear that combined. with the tonnage carried by the Julian service there is every possibility of the cargoes delivered over the Ngahina wharf from now on reaching very considerable dimensions.
