WHITIANGA RIDING
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NOTICE OF MOTION TABLED A notice of motion to rescind the resolution previously carried relative to extra representation on the council by Whitianga riding was tabled by Cr. H. T. Robinson at the May meeting of the Coromandel County Council. Or. S. H. Le Roy-Dyson moved that the clerk be instructed to place the facts before the New Zealand Counties’ Association with a request for the association’s solicitors to give a legal opinion upon the position. The motion was seconded by Cr. F. H. Purdom and carried.
