DRAW FOR SATURDAY

The last round of the Waitemata Cup contest will be decided on Saturday next when a bogey match will be played by members of the Paeroa Golf Club. The draw is as follows:— Seniors: W. A. C. A stableford bogey played by members of the Paeroa Golf Club on Saturday, in conjunction with the fourth round of the Waitemata Cup contest, was won by G. Laird. The following players gained points:— G. Laird, 37, 5 points; L. W. Frank, 36, 3 points; J. Sarjant, 35, 2 points; M. Young, 35, 2 points; P. Williams, 35, 2 points; C. McNeil, 35, 2 points; W. Dean, 35, 2 points; W. F. Johnston, 34, 1 point; R. S. Carden, 3/, 1 point, and L. F. Jones, 34, 1 point.

LOCAL. PLAYERS COMPETE

Members of the Paeroa Golf Club playing at Waihi during the week-end collected a fair share of the trophies. Good golf was played by the following winners of matches:—

P. Williams, runner-up in the junior Goldfields championship; C. Elliott, stableford bogey and B. Hunt, gross net medal.
