SALE HELD AT PAEROA BIG ENTRY OF PIGS Messrs G. W. Vercoe and Company* Limited report that at their last fortnightly sale held in Paeroa there wasl a large yarding of all classes of fat and boner cattle with an exceptionally* big entry of pigs. Very firm rates ruled throughout th® sale and one heavy chopper reached the high figure of £l3 2s while a cow* and runner realised £l7 10s.

Quotations: Prime red poll cows, £l3l 8s to £l4 10s; heifers, £9 Us to £l2 ss; cows and runners, £l3 7s 6d to £l7 10s. Heavy fat Jersey and S.H. cows, £ll 10s to £l4; medium, £9 16s to £ll ss. Fat heifers, £9 8s to £lO 4s; lighter, £8 to £9 Is. Heavy boner cows, £7 15s to £9; medium, £6 Ils to £7 6s; light, £5 Is to £6 7s 6d; potter bulls, £9 10s to £9 17s 6d; 2-year service bulls, to £6 12s 6d. Jersey heifer calves, £6 to £6 16s; medium, £4 9s to £4 15s; small and mixed, £3 Ils to £4 6s.
