BOWLING SUCCESS
C. C. WEBB IN CHAMPIONSHIP ONLY TWO-LIFER LEFT Mr Chas. C. Webb, late of Paeroa and at present residing in Invercargill, was chosen to represent the Georgetown Bowling Club in the Southland singles bowls championship held recently. • After four rounds, played under very adverse weather conditions, Mr Webb was the only two-lifer left in the game. He and six other players who remain in the competition with one life left, will play off the remainder at an early 'date. The results will be forwarded to the Gazette by Mr Webb.
