GOOD EFFORT
SCHOOL BANKING OVER £5O THIS YEAR Approximately £5O has been hanked since the beginning of February by the 100 or so pupils of the primary department of the Paeroa District High School who have school savings bank accounts. The acting headmaster, Mr E. Meyer, said that this was a very creditable effort on behalf of the pupils. Every Wednesday they bring along their pennies or shillings and these contributions, small or large, soon mount up to a considerable sum of money.
