WON CARO CUP
MR K. E. ADAMS OF OMAHU HAMILTON DAHLIA SHOW Competing at the Hamilton Horticultural Society’s autumn show this week, Mr K. E. Adams of Omahu won the Caro Cup, presented for the best six large dahlias. Other prizes gained by Mr Adams were:— Championships: Champinn ef champions and large dahlia, giant decorative. Open classes: Medium dahlia, X Amateur classes: Medium dahlia, three varieties, 1; medium dahlia, specimen bloom, 2 and 2; cactus and/or garden cactus, 2; / small dahlias, cactus type, three varieties, 1; six blooms, 2; small dahlias, decorative type, six blooms, X Mr Stretton of Waitakararu came second in the Caro Cup ‘competition and second in the specimen bloom, red, section.
