Railway Tennis Team
The following C grade team will represent the Paeroa Railway Tennis Club against Hauraki Plains at Ngatea on Saturday. Ladies: Miss D. Gillespie, Mesdames Johnson, Vinnicombe and Calland. Men: McDonald, Southwell, Vercoe, Blair, Kemp and Knuth. The bus will leave Fathers’ hotel at 10.15 a.m. sharp. Street Appeal Permission for the Auckland Crippled Children’s Society to hold a street appeal in June, 1949, was granted at the February meeting of the Paeroa, Borough Council.
