NEW REGULATIONS
CONTROL OF LICENSING HEALTH DEPARTMENT REQUEST Returns of eating houses, food premises and hairdressers’ shops were asked for in a letter from p the Department of Health to the May meeting of the Coromandel County Council. New regulations were being drafted, the letter stated, and the present by-laws were being superseded and licensing taken over by the Government.
It was stated by the clerk, Mr J. H. Lucas, that the new health inspector for the county would arrive some time in May.
