FARMERS MEET
COROGLEN-WHENUAKITE
PAST SECRETARY HONOURED
At Coroglen on Tuesday, May 25, there was a very large attendance of members of the Coroglen-Whenuakite branch of Federated Farmers. Mr H. Camp presided and in the absence of the secretary, Mr G. C. Donovan, was elected secretary for the evening. Correspondence regarding Crown lands and rehabilitation loans was received. A discussion on transport difficulties occupied most of the evening.
The meeting concluded with a short speech by the president when he made a presentation to the immediate past secretary, Mrs E- E. Hamilton, for her services during the past two years.
