Surfaceman Resigns
Mr S. Ngapo, surfaceman on Kennedy’s Bay road notified his intention of resigning from the employ of the Coromandel County Council at their last meeting. A resolution was carried that his resignation be accepted with regret and that the council express appreciation and thanks to him by letter for the manner in which he had carried out his work. It was left to the works committee to appoint a new surfaceman to take Mr Ngapo’s place.
