RETIRING FROM COUNCIL WORK

MR WILLIAM HAMILTON At the November meeting of the Coromandel County Council the chairman, Mr E. Deeble, referred to the valuable services rendered to the council by Or. W. Hamilton, who was not seeking re-election to the council. His knowledge and matured advice has been of great (benefit to the council, he said. Mr Deeble extended appreciation and thanks for his services to the council and county generally over a long period of years. The council also wished he would be spared long life. Cr. Hamilton replied, thanking Mr Deeble and the councillors for their good wishes. His only reason for not being in the . coming contest was his age, Mr Hamilton said.
