LADIES’ COMMITTEE

WHANGAMATA MEETING HAPPY TIME MAKING GOODS Members of the Whangamata Ladies’ Committee held an enjoyable monthly meeting at Mrs L. A. Clark’s residence, “The Port,” Whangamata, recently. Those present were Mesdames Arthur, Williamson, Wideson, Juston, Bentley, Garter, Robson, and Clark. A letter of appreciation was to be sent to Mrs H. Watt for the beautiful bouquet made by her and presented to Mrs Lide'll who was leaving the district. A letter was 1 to be sent to Mrs H. Willets who was 1 in the Waihi Hospital, hoping for her Speedy recovery. A new member was welcomed 1 to the committe, Mrs Robson from Paeroa. The bring and buy brought 13s Bd. The reading was taken by Mrs Justin. A happy time was spent making goods l for the annual fair. A blazing fire added brightness and warmth. Morning tea was' served by Mrs Clark.
