TRIBUTE PAID

PASSING OF THREE MEMBERS OHINEMURI JOCKEY CLUB Reference to the passing of the late Mr H. R. Bush, was made by the president, Mr H. Dent, at the annual meeting of the Ohinemuri Jockey Club on Saturday night. Mr Bush, said the president, had been chairman of committee at the time of his death and during, the many years he had been associated with both the Ohinemuri Jockey Club and the Thames Jockey Club he had given great service to both as well as to facing in general. His advice and assistance would be greatly missed by both clubs. The president also referred to the death of two -other old members of the club, the late Messrs R. A. Wiggins and C. C. Short. The meeting stood in silence as a mark of respect.
