Mr Ken Clover, of Papatoetoe, has returned after- a visit to Waitakaruru as the guest of Mrs E. C. Thom'asen. Mr G. L. Banfield, assistant instructor in agriculture, Department of Agriculture, Thames, has been appointed' a non-elective member of the Hauraki Catchment Board. Mr Banfield replaces Mr A. D. Mercer who has taken a position in Fiji.
