TAIR/UA ONLY DEBIT AiOOOIUNT THAMES COUNTY COUNCIL The statement of accounts for the year ended March 31, 1946, subject to correction by audit, was submitted to a meeting of the Thames County Council by the county clerk, 'Mr J. F. Eames. An improvement in the County Fund Account was shown, the amount being £1638/147'8. With the exception of Tairua, all ridings l in the County showed a credit balance, Puriri and Hikutaia having paid off debit balances. Accounts for the ridings, with those for the previous year in parentheses, are as follow: Hastings, £545 (£155); Totara, £349 ('£B2); (Puriri, £409 (dr. £80); Hikutaia d541'l (dr. £19); Taiaccounts, the improvement is £1650. iOther fund decounts show an increase in credit of £l2. Taking all rua, dr. £202 (dr. £9(9).
