ENJOYABLE DANCE
EASTER MONDAY NIGHT FUNICTION AT COROMANDEL On E'aster Monday night a very enjoyable dance was held in St. George’s Hal, Coromandel, under the auspices of the Catholic Church Committee. There was a very good attendance and the dance went with a swing. During the evening extras were played by Miss M. Lillis 1 (piano) and Miss G. Whitley (accordion) and were very much appreciated by the dancers. Mr Hans Brown played extra foxtrots. The music for the rest of the dancing was- supplied l by Mrs E. M. Lucas (piano) 1 and Miss G. Whitley (violin) and Messrs Eric Gamble and visiting players on the drums. Mr A. G. McNeil acted as M.C.
A very nice suppei’ was served by the ladies which was a welcome interlude from the dancing. The National Anthem brought the dance to a close at 1 a.m.
