NOT SATISFACTORY
KOMATA DRAIN CLEARING (PROGRESS MADE: THIS YEAR “At the Hikutaia end of the Komata North drainage area very good pi ogress has been made with the clearing and the work is nearing completion. The same cannot be said of the Komata area progress. It has not been good and the clearing is very unsatisfactory,” reported the engineer, Mr L. E. Shaw, to the April meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council. It was decided that Cr. G. A. Avery and the engineer make an inspection of the Komata area drains.
