KEREPEEHI LODGE
CARD TOURNEY PROPOSED MR & MRIS J. HANDS HONOURED The Loyal Kerepeehi Lodge held a meeting in the lodge room on April 15, N.G. Bro. .Stansell presiding\)ver a good attendance of members. One new member was initiated. It was decided that the card shield which Kerepeehi Lodge had won outright be handed in to be played for annually and the secretary was instructed to write and invite Paeroa, Netherton and Ngatea Lodges to compete for the shield and that the competition be home and away matches.
After business was concluded the lodge meeting closed, followed by supper and a social evening in honour of Bro. and Sister J. Hands who have recently arrived from overseas. N.G. Bro. Stansell in presenting Bro. and Sister Hands with an electric jug on behalf of the members, wished them long life and happiness together, and the very best of luck in the future. Musical honours were then accorded.
In reply, Bro. Hands thanked the ■NjG. and members for the present and evening extended on behalf of his wife and self.
