HEAVY RAIN
3.75 INCHES FOR WEEK-END NO FLOODING REPORTED During the Easter week-end a total of 3.75 inches of rain fell in Paeroa. but no flooding of a serious nature has been reported. Details of the rainfall are as follows readings being taken at 8.30 a.m. each day:— Friday, April 19 —- 0.04 inch Saturday, April 20 1.0'4 inches Sunday, April 21 —- 0.02 inch Monday, April 22 .... 0.43' inch Tuesday, April 2i3 2.22 inches Total .—.— -- 3.75 The total rainfall for the month to date is 5.413 inches, compared with the average for April of 4.20 inches.
