CALIFORNIA CALLING
CONVERSATION WITH TURUA SURPRISES FOR MRS H. BOWEN Mrs Harry Bowen Snr., of Piako road, Turua, received a delightful surprise when on answering a telephone call on E'aster Monday afternoon she was informed that her daughter, Mrs Robert S. Stratton, of California, wished to speak to her. Mrs Bowen and other members of the family had a lengthy conversation' with Mrs- Stratton the reception being extremely clear. Mrs Bowen declares this event to be the grandest Easter gift she has yet received. The many friends of Mrs Bowen will be pleased to know her daughter and grand) daughter are both well and happy.
