CATTLE SALE AT PAEROA QUALITY CATTLE YARDED At theii' fortnightly. Paeroa sale held last Monday Messrs- G. W. Vereoe and Co., report that a good yarding of dairy cattle came forward. Good quality cattle were in keen demand, one extra choice pen selling to £23 ; 10s. Yearling heifers were again yarded in good numbers while showing an easing tendency realised satisfactory prices. Quotations: — Good yearling Jersey heifers sold from £7 17s 6d to £8 10s; medium do., £7 to £7 7s; crossbred do., £5 l‘ss to £6 10s; two-year empty Jersey heifers £6 10s to £6 15s; medium do., £6 to £6 ss; others, £4 17s to £5 '7s; 2-year Shorthorn and P.A. Steers, to £8; 17s; small yearling Hereford Heifers to £5 ss. Extra choice dairy heifers, to £23 10s; goo do., £l3 to £l5 ss; medium do., £ll to £l2. 10-s; later heifers, £9 10s to £lO ss. BULL SALE BIDDING BRISK THROUGHOUT Messrs G. W. Vereoe and Co., report having held theii’ annual Paeroa Bull Sale on Wednesday. Bidding was brisk throughout and good grade 2 and 3-year Jersey Bulls sold' to £2O, while good yearling Jersey and Ayrshire bulls sold to £l5 and £l6 respectively..
