IN NEED OF LEVELLING

ROADSIDE in BUSH STREET REQUEST TO THE COUNCIL “It has been obvious for some time now that the ground' between the footpath and the road in front of my residence needs levelling,” stated a letter from Mr G. J. Brock, of Bush street, Paeroa, to the September meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council. The letter continued:— “This matter has been mentioned l in conversation with members of the council but I have been driven to the length of writing this letter by the flooded state of this road frontage. After every rain this area is just a sheet of water, there being no water table provided. “I would' also like to bring to your notice the failure of the water cock to turn off the water.
