ACCESS ROAD
APPLICATION TO COUNTY NO METAL TO' SPARE NOW An application for the grading, metalling and sanding of a private road was received from Mi* J. Firth at the September meeting of the Coromandel County Council. Cr. H. C. Bull said it was a problem where to get metal for the county roads, and he could ot see how any could be spared for private roads. Or. A. J. Denize supported Or. Bull’s remarks and said the problem of getting metal was serious. It was resolved that Mr Firth be written to stating that if and: when metal becomes available later on the council would be prepared to supply material but no labour could be made available.
