OFFER TO COUNCIL
FORMATION OF CUPP’S ROAD FOREMAN TO MAKE INSPECTION At the July meeting of the Coromandel County Council, Cr. W. Hamilton asked what progress had been made regarding the proposed formation of Cupp’s road. Cr. Hamilton stated that he had made an offer of £2oo' towards the formation of Cupp’s road last November. The letter had been read at the county meeting and it had been left with the engineer to inspect and report on. So far, to his knowledge, no inspection or report had been made. Cr. Hamilton asked if the reason for the delay was because the angledozer was busy on 'Pt. Jackson and Pt. Charles roads. He further stated he had sufficient confidence in the ability of the foreman, Mr W. Beech, to inspect and report on this proposed road and asked that Mr Beech be instructed accordingly.
