COROMANDEL WHARF
PORTION NOT TOO SAFE MEASURES TO BE TAKEN Referring to the unsafe condition of the Coromandel Wharf the Marine Department wrote to the July meeting of the Coromandel County Council suggesting steps which should be taken in the matter. The department suggested as protective measures, that the loading platform be moved back near the. crane, the end of the wharf fenced off and a notice erected to say it was unsafe. It was proposed by the chairman, Cr. E. Deeble, seconded by Cr. A. J. Notman, that these measures be taken by the council.
