INDOOR BOWLING
COMPETITION AT NGATEA WIN FOR COUNTRY TEAM A very enjoyable evening was spent by members of the Ngatea Bowling Club last Thursday, when some close heads were played in the Ngatea Hall. A most spectacular head was witnessed when the Town team was defeated' by Factory team, six up. Before supper factory was leading but the country team took the lead later in the evening with Factory second.
The bowling showed marked improvement throughout the evening when the jack was carried within a few inches of the mat on several occasions.
