ODDFELLOWS MEET
LOYAL HAURAKI LODGE AFFAIRS AT COROMANDEL The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Hauraki Lodge was held in the Lodge Room, Coromandel, on Monday, August 30, the N.G., Sister J. Notman, presiding. Members stood in silence in honour of members of the Auckland District who have made the supreme sacrifice. One new member was admitted’ into the Order. A hearty welcome was accorded P.G. Bro. K. W. Beech who was also presented with his Past Grand’s Emblem. P.G. Bro. Beech suitably replied. Arrangements were discussed in connection with the annual visit of the District Grand Master and district officers who will be attending a meeting of the lodge on Saturday, October 2. After the lodge prayer the meeting closed and supper was served. It being visitors’ night, several visitors were present and a very happy evening was spent in games and dancing till the early hours.
