MEN FROM PENINSULA SGT. BROOK’S COMMENT The following is an extract fi’ohi a letter received from Sgt. M. A. Brook in whieh he suggests the list should be handed in to the Gazette. Sgt. Brook writes:— “Coromandel is well represented by four sergeants (all reverted officers), and five privates, Sgts. Viv. Nicholls, Jim Gould, Sam Allen, M. A. Brook, Ptes. V. Whittle, Phil. James, Snowy Gould, W. Box, Paul Anderson. “Whitianga is also represented by Johnny Davis and Irwin Brophy; Colville by Walter Young.
