Signalman L. V. Smith left Whitianga on Friday after visiting his home folk.
Mrs Greig and little Kristen returned to Auckland on Friday after spending a holiday 'with Mrs R. Smith, Mercury Bay. Mrs Stratton, who has been relieving at the Whitianga Hospital, has returned to Thames. Mr and Mrs Elliott, of Auckland, are holidaying at Purangi, Mercury Bay- . .... Mrs Branch, of Thames, is visiting her daughter, Mrs A. White, of Whitianga. Mrs A. White has returned to Mercury Bay after a holiday at Pongakawa and Thames. Mr Jack Lynch, of Auckland, is visiting friends at Hot Water Beach. Guests at the Whitianga Hotel, Mercury Bay, last week were; Mrs Davis, Te Awamutu; Mrs George, New Plymouth; Mr Tims, Hamilton; Mr Hetherington, Mayor of Morrinsville; and Messrs Maber, Pole and Butler, all of. Morrinsville.
