PRODUCTION COUNCIL
TO BE SET UP AT THAMES APPOINTMENT OF PERSONNEL Recently Mr James Thorn, M.P., pointed out to the Hon. W. Polson, Minister of Primary Production for War Purposes, that the Primary Production Council up till now covering the Thames Valley area being based on Tauranga, was not convenient to Thames interests. The Minister has now informed Mr Thorn that a decision had been taken to constitute a production council in Thames. Action will be taken shortly by the Field Supervisor in the Agricultural Department at Auckland in connection with the appointment of its personnel.
