VICTORY TO OHINEMURI SHOT ON PARAWAI RANGE DETAILS OF THE MATCH (From the Ohinemuri Gazette of July 10, 1902.) An interesting shooting match took place at Parawai, Thames, on Saturday last, between teams from the Ohinemuri No. 1 Rifles and the Thames Rifles. The Ohinemuri team was without the services of some of its best men, but managed to secure a victory by the narrow margin of eleven points. The ranges- were 300 and 500 yards—ten shots at each range.
