WAITAKARURU DRAINAGE
INCLUDED IN HAURAKI WEST
At Wednesday’s meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council it was agreed to admit the Waitakaruru Drainage Committee’s recommendation that a reclassification of the Waitakaruru, Drainage District be made and that subsequent to the reclassification steps be taken with the ratepayers to have the district transferred to the jurisdiction of the Hauraki West Drainage Board. It was decided to ask Mr Hughes of the Thames Valley Drainage Board to undertake the reclassification.
