L.A.C. ROBINSON FAREWELLED
TERRITORIALS ENTERTAINED
On Friday, June 19, the Coromandel Patriotic .-Sub-Committee held a dance to welcome and entertain a visiting unit of- Territorials in St. George’s Hall. Opportunity was also taken to farewell an old Coromandel boy, Leading-Aircraftman Frank Robinson who was spending a short leave in Coromandel.

tending to him the good wishes and best of luck from the people of Coromandel.
L.A.C. Robinson briefly thanking Mr Whittle for his kind remarks and the people of Coromandel for the gift.
Mr Murphy, chairman of the committee, welcomed Lt. Gillespie and his troop to Coromandel and hoped they would all spend, a pleasant evening.
Popular music was supplied by Mis C. McNeil and extras were played by Mrs Stewart.
A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss J. Deeble and Mr C. Burnett. The usual welcome supper was served by the ladies’ committee and was very ■ much appreciated. Dancing continued till the early hours when the National Anthem brought the function to a close.
