WRESTLING BOUT
PROFESSIONALS AT THAMES LIST OF PRELIMINARIES. The Thames Wrestling Association will stage a bout to-morrow' evening in the King’s Theatre, Thames, between Floyd Marshall and “Kopach” Woods. This is a very wellmatched pair and they should provide some spectacular wrestling. Both wrestlers have just arrived in New Zealand after a successful tour in Australia. Woods, an ex-boxer, specialises in forearm jolts while Marshall exploits both the drop-kick and the flying tackle. In addition the following amateur bouts have been arranged : J. Rare (Hikutaia) 11.0 v. Gordon Spice (Morrinsville) 11.0. F. Beach (Waihi) 10.10 v. K. Wharepapa (Whangamata) 10.6. G. Dean (Waihi) 11.0 v. Geo. Spice (Morrinsville) 11.0. A. Savage (Whangamata) 10.4 v. J. Pekin (Morrinsville) 9.12. M. Hutchinson (Waihi) 13.12 v. H. Way (Thames) 13.4. Reserve bout: W. Savage (Whangamata) 12.6 v. R. Nepia (Whangamata) 12.6. The preliminaries will start at 7.45 p.m.
