PAEROA AND PLAINS.

Details of the outdoor attractions arranged for to-morrow in Paeroa and on Hauraki Plains are as follows: —■ GOLF. ,The following draw has been made by the Paeroa Ladies’ Golf Club.: — A Grade: Miss Gibb v. Miss L. Thorp; Miss Paterson v. Miss Walmsley; Mrs Bray v. Miss Turner; Miss Poland v. Miss Gamble; Mrs Shaw v. Miss Bellamy; Miss Tierney v. Miss M. Thorp. B Grade. —Mrs Bain v. Miss L. Real; Mrs Hubbard v. Miss Argali. There will be an entrance fee of 6d. C grade players will have an open day. The men of the Paeroa Golf Club will play a Canadian stroke foursome match, seniors with juniors, players to arrange their own partners. The entrance fee is sixpence. RIFLE SHOOTING. The Paeroa Defence Rifle Club will continue its championship and handicap aggregate competitions, the ranges to be used being 200 and 300 yards. PLAINS RUGBY. The Hauraki Plains Rugby Union’s interclub competitions will be commenced, the draw being as follows: — Seniors: Ngatea at Patetonga (referee, Mr F. Howard); Waitakaruru at Turua (Mr E. A. Mahoney). Juniors: Coast at Waitakaruru (Mr A. Cleave); Turua at Ngatea (Mr C. Molloy); Patetonga a bye. At a meeting of the management committee of the Union last Tuesday evening the Kaiaua (New Brighton) Club was granted affiliation for a senior team. This will alter the draw for the season after Saturday next when the new team has a bye.
