WEDDING.
TAYLOR—CH ARLE SWO RTH St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Paeroa, was the scene on Wednesday last of the wedding of Violet Louisa, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs W. J. Charlesworth, Coronation Road, Paeroa, to George William, eldest son of Mrs Curin and the late Mr Taylor. The Rev. Father Doherty was the officiating minister. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an ankle length frock of with a radium lace yoke. Her flowing tulle veil was held in' place with a juliet cap and clusters of orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of marguerite daisies and maiden-hair fern., Attending her were Miss Norma Ryall, of Paeroa, and Miss Phyllis Arns, of Hamilton, both in ankle length floral georgette frocks, the one green and the other pink, with felt hats and shoes to tone. One bouquet was of yellow daisies, cyclamens, and maiden' hair fern, and the other was of daffodils, hyacinths, and maiden hair fei’n. Little Winnie Charlesworth, sistei- of the bride, acted as flower girl and wore a sweet little frock of apricot georgette, with a juliet cap, and carried a posy of miniature pink daisies and maiden hair fern. Mr Claude Taylor, of Auckland, brother of the grooni, was the best man, and Mr Maxwell Charlesworth, brother of the bride, was groomsman. At the conclusion of the Nuptial Mass, Mr Curran, choirmaster, rendered the beautiful solo, “Ava Maria.” At the reception after the wedding Mrs Charlesworth received her guests wearing a charming frock of wine charmeuse with black hat and fox furs.
